Juvenile Pomegranate
​
One of our club members has submitted this photograph for a bit of general interest. It’s a juvenile Pomegranate growing on a small imported bonsai (Punica Granatum) that he acquired from a local dealer about 5 years ago. It’s not uncommon to see the bright orange flowers on these trees, but much less common to see the fruit that results from pollination.
